Based on the author’s teaching experience at the International Sakharov Environmental University, this paper reports on the implementation of innovative teaching methods by teaching the probability theory and mathematical statistics to second-year undergraduate students. The paper focuses on the skills that can be strengthen by innovating teaching and learning methodology.
