The article deals with the peculiarities and main problems of the intercultural business communication with the Chinese. Their behavior is analyzed on the basis of the theories of culture by R. Lewis and G. Hofstede. The Chinese culture is considered to have preserved its main traditions and values despite the influence of the globalization process.
