The origins of the ancient Shang dynasty are associated with the mythical magic bird Xuan Niao, which is the totem of this dynasty and one of the symbols of China. Her image is embodied in urban sculpture, painting, arts and crafts. The article examines its prototypes based on archaeological finds, artifacts, as well as artistic artifacts of our time.
