Abstract

Sea freight is one of the main elements in the development of foreign trade in many countries. This is a fairly effective and inexpensive way to deliver goods over long distances. As recent trends show, the volume of sea freight is constantly growing. In particular, the leaders in this industry are the countries of Asia. Sea cargo transportation plays an important role in the development of the Belarusian-Chinese relations, however, in recent years, they have been competing with railway transport.
