Abstract

The most economically important productive characteristics which are necessary for the effective development of the dairy industry are the following: milk yield, production of milk fat and protein, as well as fertility of dairy cows. With the development of technology, much attention is paid to cattle breeding programs based on molecular genetic research methods. In our study, the most important genes responsible for productivity and fertility were examined. The obtained data are planned to be used in experimental studies on the expression of productivity and fertility genes in dairy cows of Belarus.
