Abstract

Modern high-performance hardware and software tools provide great opportunities for working with large data arrays in the field of research and innovation, which provides public authorities wide opportunities to implement their monitoring and control functions. This article presents the main goals and fundamental principles for the development and operation of automated systems for monitoring research and innovation activities in the field of higher education. The development of the concept of the System for monitoring research and innovation activities in the field of higher education considered in the article was carried out as part of the research work “Ensuring the functioning and development of a scientific information computer network, including updating and developing network information resources and services for the formation of an innovative infrastructure of the Ministry of Education Republic of Belarus”, funded by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus (state registration number 20214115).
