Abstract
Developed a method of mnemonic memorization of basic physics formulas for students
and applicants, designed to prepare them for centralized testing, Olympiads and facultative
lessons in high school. Humor is an effective tool in the educational process, together
with using unusual associations and mnemonic techniques, it improves memorization, as well
as, importantly, causes more interest to learn. Designed and published an album containing
the minimum necessary to memorize a set of formulas in physics, studied at school. The album
contains sections of mechanics, molecular physics, electricity and magnetism, vibrations and
waves, atomic and nuclear physics. The album offers a multiple-perception method for remembering
physics formulas in the form of absurdly unusual associations and mnemonic
techniques. The materials have also been translated into foreign languages, allowing the materials
to be used for students of different countries. The album is supported by test assignments
made in the form of PowerPoint presentations. The test assignments contain individual
assignments for grades 7–11 and allow for customization of the quizzes. The teaching and
testing mode simplifies and automates the use of the materials in physics classes.
