| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the given article is to evaluate the level of demand for studying the Chinese language and culture in Vitebsk. The research reveals the basic reasons for Chinese study marked by the Belarusian students, who apply for Chinese courses in Vitebsk. The study demonstrates a high level of demand and motivation for learning the Chinese language and culture. The article also touches upon the key features of Belarusian and Chinese national characters, which contribute to flourishing relations between these nations. The article is intended to discover what is being done to promote and popularize the Chinese language and culture and how much more may be achieved through the international cooperation based on
