Abstract

China is an important strategic partner of the Republic of Belarus. During the last 24 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, both countries have made significant progress in foreign trade as well as in scientific and technological development. Belarus and China have signed a package of agreements and memorandums on cooperation in various fields. The most important result of these agreements was the creation of the industrial park "Great Stone" - the most ambitious project of Belarus and China. The project will enable Belarus to become one of the key platforms of the "One belt-one way" initiative, which in the future will bring to the economy of the country annual multibillion-dollar infusions, as well as contribute to the economic integration of the countries.
