Passenger counting system will determine the points of attraction of passenger traffic and its density. It is possible to optimize the operation of the urban transportation system in real time using received data, which will lead to significant fuel savings, reduction of harmful emissions and overall improvement in the quality of public service and convenience of using public transport. The introduction of the system will increase the carriers' profit, optimize the city route network, reduce the consumption of energy
resources, improve the safety of transportation and quality of passenger service. Thus, the system has a high potential and can be effectively applied to solve transport management problems. | ru |
